Destination and Sport Event: Image, Attachment and Loyalty Relationship

The objective of this study is to evaluate how Psychological Continuum Model (PCM) may be used foster image, attachment, and loyalty a sporting event destination. This was undertaken in conjunction with the MotoGP race at Mandalika International Circuit Lombok, Indonesia. A random sample events chosen test suggested model's validity. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling examine 367 questionnaires that Indonesian respondents filled out on spot. Using PCM framework, able find image can increase but not destination based our findings. Individuals are more likely have experiences related destinations when psychological link between people those or grows. Event-related variables, rather than destination-related entice travelers since they easily influenced by event.
